We are delighted to welcome another strong partner from French-speaking Switzerland to our pickleball family: the Lausanne Pickleball Club, led by Jonny Macdonald, Charles Roussin, and Etienne Clavel.
Jonny is no stranger to the region's sports scene. With a lot of passion, energy, and a clear focus on community building, he has quickly formed a dynamic and growing pickleball group in Lausanne. His vision: to further promote pickleball in French-speaking Switzerland, inspire new players, and create professional training opportunities.
With the Lausanne Pickleball Club joining, the Swiss Pickleball Association is taking another important step in the nationwide development of our sport. This gives French-speaking Switzerland an active and committed club that fits perfectly with our mission: to promote pickleball throughout Switzerland in a sustainable way.
Why is this important?
Pickleball is booming—and demand in French-speaking Switzerland is growing rapidly. With Lausanne, our network in the region continues to expand, enabling us to provide even better support: in setting up training structures, organizing tournaments, training coaches, and connecting the community.
We warmly welcome Jonny and his team and look forward to many joint projects, exciting tournaments, and even more pickleball enthusiasm along Lake Geneva!
Welcome to the Pickleball Switzerland family—we look forward to working with you!
