The Swiss Pickleball Association is proud to announce that all winners of the various categories of the Swiss Pickleball Tour 2025 had the opportunity to represent Switzerland at the European Pickleball Championships in Rome.
The event began with a spectacular flag parade, where all participants could feel like real Olympians. The venue was the legendary Foro Italico - a venue that once hosted the Summer Olympics and the World Cup - a truly fitting stage for the sport that we believe will soon be the number one sport in the world: Pickleball!
Team Switzerland was represented by players from all over the country and achieved an impressive 7th place in the European rankings.
Congratulations to all the direct medal winners and to all the players who showed the Swiss spirit and passion on the international stage!
Special congratulations go to Stefano Cucuzza, who exceeded all expectations with two medals at this year's championships.
Switzerland is already well represented in the higher age groups - but we need even more young players to secure the future of this exciting sport.
That's why we at the Swiss Pickleball Association are committed to promoting and developing pickleball throughout the country so that future enthusiasts can also experience moments like these.
