Pickleball Villars-sur-Glâne joins the Swiss Pickleball Association - another milestone for French-speaking Switzerland!
We are very pleased to Villars-sur-Glâne Pickleball Club as a new member of the Swiss Pickleball Association welcome! With the inclusion of this association, we can now second club from western Switzerland to our growing pickleball community. This is an important step for the spread of our sport in all regions of Switzerland and shows how much pickleball is also gaining popularity in French-speaking Switzerland.
A special thank you goes to Chrystelle, Christian and their dedicated teamwho put their heart and soul into promoting pickleball in Villars-sur-Glâne and are actively involved in setting up and developing the club. Thanks to their work, more and more people in the region have the opportunity to get to know this fascinating and dynamic sport.
Rising numbers - Pickleball continues to grow!
With Villars-sur-Glâne as a new member, the Swiss Pickleball Association now counts eight active clubs in Switzerland, including two from French-speaking Switzerland. The rising membership figures and the founding of new clubs clearly show that pickleball is on the rise!
From Geneva to Zurich, from German-speaking Switzerland to French-speaking Switzerland - more and more people are discovering an enthusiasm for this sport, which appeals to players of all ages and fitness levels. We see enormous potential in French-speaking Switzerland, and with Villars-sur-Glâne leading the way, we look forward to getting even more players in this region excited about pickleball.
