Information about the 2nd SPT 2025 tournament in Solothurn

Eight pickleball courts are glued onto two ReboundAce tennis courts.

With 89 players in 11 categories, it will be the biggest pickleball tournament in Switzerland to date.

Please arrive approx. 30 minutes before the match. The schedule is very tight - please be on time.

We open the gates at 8:30 am on Saturday and 8:15 am on Sunday 🙂

Categories / Format

All matches 1 set to 15 points, medal matches to 2 winning sets (11 points).
All Win by 2

Semi-final entry according to the following criteria: matches won > sets > points difference > DUPR (from 14.02.2025)

  • Men Singles: Double elimination with additional matches for the first to be eliminated
  • Women Singles: 1x group of 4 and 1x group of 3, group winners go directly into the semi-finals, groups second and third play in the quarter-finals for a place in the semi-finals.
  • Women doubles 50+: 1x group of 6, directly into the finals
  • Men doubles 50+: 1x group of 5, directly into the finals
  • Mixed doubles 50+: 1x group of 4 and 1x group of 3. Group winners go straight through to the semi-finals, groups two and three play in the quarter-finals for a place in the semi-finals.

We have drawn up the seeding list as follows:
Doubles:

  1. DUPR as of February 14, 2025 (registration deadline), the higher DUPR value in the team is used.
  2. Those without DUPR in random order (lot decision)

Single:

  1. DUPR as of February 14, 2025 (registration deadline)
  2. No single rating on DUPR : Your DUPR double rating was used, ranked below the rated single players
  3. Those who do not have a singles or doubles ranking (DUPR) were placed at the end of the seeding list in a random order (draw).
